So I promised that I would start posting again. Here is some artwork. This is Alana One.

There will be several other pieces coming up, and then, in a few days, something completely different. For the first time ever, I have worked with another writer to produce a story.

Victor Storiguard is an old friend of mine. One of the things he does is write fiction which is sort of modeled on the work of a certain comic writer of the early and middle XXth century. (Three guesses. Bert*e & J**ves. Ready! Steady! Go!) Except, Vic's stories are set in the future rather than the past. You can see one of his books here: The Pride And The Glory of Peter T. Sheeple.

We decided to try a combination of his version of science fiction and mine. I will be posting our joint effort very soon.

I will be interested in finding out if you think it works at all.

Pity I’m not who she thinks I am, he thought. It would be nice to be the subject of her attentions. Courtesan (fiction, far future)

It is also set in the far future, which is also more common for me.             He never expected to end up as he became in his second, and far more pleasant life. He had never expected to wake up at all. He had been walking along the street on his way back to work from lunch one afternoon. It had been sunny and bright, quite pleasant, and he had been thinking about nothing in particular. For once in his life, he was even in something like a good mood.
